Who is behind Safe Work Registers
Designed, developed and supported by Safety Systems.
Safety Systems Bendigo was formed in 2001 to provide occupational hygiene and OHS consultancy across Victoria. Asbestos Management Pro came out of that work rather than out of a product plan.
We built it to help our clients manage asbestos across their sites. We know how hard that is when you are responsible for hundreds or thousands of buildings, and we watched good audit reports get emailed once and then lost.
Software on its own is only half of it. Behind the portal sits a consultancy that audits buildings, monitors air, analyses samples in its own NATA accredited laboratory and trains the people who work around asbestos. Our recommendations do not stop the moment a report is sent out.
We are committed to keeping the product current as the regulations change. The risk method follows the National Guide for Asbestos Surveys 2025, and the portal is built around the Victorian OHS Regulations 2017 and the harmonised WHS Regulations interstate.
Our people work in occupational hygiene, asbestos assessment, laboratory analysis and training. Our director spent roughly a decade at WorkSafe Victoria before founding the practice, which is why the work is built around what a regulator actually asks for.

Safe Work Registers Software
Safe Work Registers was established to develop safety management software for asbestos, hazardous materials, equipment inspection, chemicals, standard operating procedures and confined spaces.
Asbestos Management Pro is the first of these. The rest follow the same approach: built by the people who do the work rather than by a software company reading the regulations.
